You know the feeling when you’re starving, and you see your food coming at the restaurant? You go full on heart-eyes, your heart skips a couple beats, and you’re slipping into a state of bliss?

I had that exact feeling when I walked into Hotel Crescent Court, seeing the entire mood this styled shoot was serving up. The hotel grounds are truly breathtaking all on their own, but the planning and styling of Kelsey Williams and Southern Affairs really brought an electric touch to the space. 

I knew I was in for a treat, but there was no way to prepare me for just how beautifully it all would come together. A vendor team that only dreams are made of, at a luxury boutique hotel right in the middle of Uptown, with an intentional focus on inclusivity and diversity. I couldn’t have asked for more!

The bold floral design by Haute Floral was a perfect blend of colorful and regal – proof that high-end weddings don’t have to look or feel stuffy and uptight! 

The attire and accessories were out of this world: gowns from the incomparable Elizabeth Lee Bridal Boutique, suits from internationally-recognized Don Morphy, and jaw-dropping jewelry from Lisa McConnell Designs. Working with these fashion-forward vendors added such a unique style to the day, and it wouldn’t have come together without their looks!

Speaking of looks, our models were pampered and made up by Melisa J Beauty – what a talent! Though she clearly had excellent canvasses to start with, she provided exceptionally glowy, natural looks that matched the styled shoot’s theme flawlessly. 

There was just so much talent and inspiration in one building, I almost couldn’t handle it. I can’t wait to get back into styled shoots! I look at these shoots as a way to stretch my creativity; much like a runway, styled shoots give me the inspiration I need to bring to my clients’ weddings, no matter how big or small!
