While this decision is for both professional and personal reasons, the biggest reason for this change is due to unexpectedly losing my dad last year, my mom’s continued decline with Alzheimer’s, and everything that’s stemmed from those events.

It’s been a wonderful 13 years with y’all: hundreds of weddings worked, countless memories captured for my clients and their families, and being lucky enough to make some fantastic friends along the way!

Fear not, though! I’m still available for family, couples, and creative portrait photography. I also have my other brand, Melissa Spurrier Photography, that focuses on commercial headshots, events, and branding photography in the DFW area.

Here’s to new beginnings and weekends off to spend time with friends 🩷
