Photographing Krys and Matt’s engagement session was extra special for us. Not only are they amazing clients, but they are great friends, too. Krys chose Trinity Park as her location for several reasons: Matt proposed to her in Central Park, NYC, and they also often use a tree as a metaphor in the growth of their relationship. Can you say precious?
These two were ready to showcase their love for my camera :)
I have to say that it’s always great to photograph fellow nerds. Not only was singing of the Katamari theme song (all four of us sang together), but they also revealed their special T-Rex handshake to us.
Adorable, no?
I should also mention that Krys is a fellow photographer, and she and Matt do excellent work providing photo booth services at weddings!
They brought a few trinkets with great sentimental value: a New York City ornament from the trip where Matt proposed, and a cork from a wine bottle from their memorable trip to Portland.
We can’t wait to photograph their wedding this coming September!
[…] bridal session at the Fort Worth YWCA was absolutely fantastic. Krys and Matt got married at the YWCA on Labor Day Monday, and we took her bridal portraits only a few days […]
