Cathrine and Taryn’s backyard DFW lesbian wedding took place in Sherman, Texas with literally PERFECT NOVEMBER WEATHER!

If you live in Texas, it feels like almost any month can have hectic weather in one form or another. November is usually pretty safe, but you just never know!

That said, I love how Cathrine and Taryn factored in the weather when deciding what photos mattered most to them. Since it was almost winter, our limited sunlight meant that they didn’t want to worry about getting ready photos. Instead, when I arrived, we jumped straight into the first look and never looked back!

Additionally, I also really (and I mean really!) appreciate that they had a backup plan in case rain or storms happened to show up. Again, it’s Texas – you just never know!

That said, Cathrine, Taryn, and their friends and family were all so welcoming. As the day went on, it felt like documenting their day became less of a job and more of an experience where I became part of the group.

It’s the moments when couples bring me in to their inner circle that I will always cherish the most, and the stories I’ll tell forever.
