Sarah and Nick met up with me at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, TX early last Sunday morning for their engagement photos. They met while studying glass blowing at UTA, and now they both work as professional glass blowers! How cool is that? Sarah and I go way back – all the way back to the art school days at UTA! I remember having several classes with her (painting was one of them – I was NOT very good – I generally struggled with all art forms except photography) and also working at Chuy’s together. There aren’t many bonds that are as special as working with a restaurant team on a busy night.

 I’m definitely not a morning person, but once I see how gorgeous the light is, getting up and showing up early is always worth it. Congratulations to these talented artists! We can’t wait to go on an adventure to Abilene to photograph your wedding.

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is one of my favorite DFW locations – I could shoot there for days.
