Bella Donna Chapel in McKinney, TX could practically be in another country! It’s an absolutely stunning venue to get married in, especially if you want to experience what feels like a European-style chapel right here in North Texas. Leilani and Kevin decided to do a pre-wedding session with me when we first met since their wedding was taking place at night after the sun set, and they wanted to be sure to have some gorgeous couple photos with natural light!
Pre-wedding sessions are when the bride and groom get all dressed up in their wedding attire and have their photos taken before the wedding day. Nick and I did one with our photographer. It was a great way to test out hair and makeup, prance around in our wedding clothes, and enjoy the moment together before the hustle of a wedding day! Leilani and Kevin were sure to order prints to display for their guests and were able to hang some up in their home straight away. How cool is that? This was my first pre-wedding session to photograph, but I have a feeling it won’t be my last!
Many thanks to Leilani and Kevin for being open minded and for welcoming me in to photograph this special time in your lives.
Sometimes, being a bit silly is a great way to break the ice!
The Bella Donna Chapel is a timeless wedding venue with stunning architecture, fresco paintings reminiscent of the Renaissance, and plenty of natural light. It was a treat to get to shoot at such a special venue that appears to almost be frozen in time!
We still have dates in 2017 and 2018 open to photograph wedding and love stories of all shapes and sizes! View my portfolio and let’s set up a time to chat.
